Welcome back news for 2012-13

Welcome back to our Blogg, hope you had a good SUMMER , if you could call it a Summer!! Not to worry this WINTER shall be a cold, sunny and crisp winter in our predictions with lots of Snow in the mountains!  So be prepared, wrap up warm, and book your skiing and snowboarding holidays early to avoid disappointment!! 

We have lots of catered chalets advertised in our Store, all of them have come highly recommended! Sainte Foy, is one of our customers favorite resorts, just a few kilometers away from Val'desire and La Rossiere!  Then there is the little village of Bourg St Maurice where you can catch the train up to Les Arcs and play around there till your heart is content!!  

All our ski and snowboarding clothing is arriving and flying on the rails as we speak!  

Fabulous junior clothing this year from Protest, Icepeak and Bonfire. 

 Lots of down filled and primaloft soft fillings which are light and warm which is just the job for the minus conditions we may be facing this Winter! Not to mention up in the mountains! Lots of brightly coloured helmets have arrived from Salomon with their Xtend Goggles flying out of the shop before the season has begun! 

 These goggles give 20% more vision than other goggles and the lenses are superb to look through, especially in the miserable conditions when there is a lot of low cloud around!  All the salomon Xtend Goggles integrate with the Salomon helmets which give a clean sporty look !  

Gone are the days when helmets used to look as if you had been shot out of a cannon!! So why not call in and have a browse around, while all the stock is arriving!  P.S. If you are needing that once a year ski or snowboard service, Service has now resumed, one week turn a round drop your skis or snowboards in one weekend and pick them up the weekend after!  All boot fitting  will be by appointment only, for anyone who has bought their boots elsewhere!  

Any boots purchased from Dicks boardstore come with a free fitting and advice service.  However we are happy to fit boots purchased via other outlets, a charge of £35 will be the cost of this service.  There is nothing worse when skiing or boarding and your boots are uncomfortable!  They shouldnt be so dont put up with the pain and let us help you out!  Looking forward to seeing you all soon!  Dont forget Free carpark at the rear of the Store!  Tesco is only across the road, you can do your food shop at the same time!
